MAKING MODEL VOLCANO

In Mertzede Ikastetxea, primary 5 students carried out a real COOL science experiment. WE MADE AN ACTIVE VOLCANO!!

Some of us worked in pairs, some in groups and some alone. But we all learned a lot! We learned that volcanoes produce  important changes in geographical relief and lots of other interesting facts. During the experiment we simulated a volcanic eruption and the production of lava.

Would you like to know how we made our volcanoes erupt??? Then read on.

First, you need the following materials:

A 330 ml plastic bottle

Two small glasses of water

One small glass of vinegar

Baking soda

A funnel

Now, to make the volcano erupt you need to use the funnel to pour the water and the vinegar into the bottle. Then add a spoonful of baking soda. Finally, watch what happens……!!!
